Alaskan King Crab Legs
Wild king crab legs from the Bering Sea are a prime delicacy. The largest commercially caught crabs, their meat is moist, sweet, and rich in flavor. These legs are precooked and frozen. Plus, they can be served hot or cold. Simply thaw for 24 hours in the refrigerator and consume promptly for the best flavor. If you do not need all at the same time, you can pull some out and freeze the rest for later consumption.
Because king crab are a wild product, the leg size, color, and shell texture can vary. For most legs, you only need a pair of kitchen sheers to cut through the shell. For larger, harder shells, we recommend a kitchen mallet or hammer. Place a tea towel down prior to breaking shell to reduce mess.
