How to Store Caviar
Though caviar is a fresh product, it stores much longer than people presume. Due to its

vacuum seal and slight curing, caviar lasts 4-6 weeks in the fridge when kept closed. However, opening caviar reduces your timeline to consume. Once exposed to oxygen, caviar starts to change. We recommend consuming opened caviar within 1-3 days.
Storing Opened Caviar
If you do not consume its entirety in one seating, flatten the pearls lightly (careful not to break them) and place plastic wrap over the top to reduce oxygen exposure. Then, place in the coldest part of your fridge (back corner) where the temperature fluctuates the least.
Storing Closed Caviar for a Prolonged Period

To store caviar for multiple weeks, make sure to keep the seal closed. We also suggest storing the tin in the back of the fridge where the temperature fluctuates the least. If you store caviar for 4+ weeks, we recommend rotating the tin periodically. Storing caviar tins upside down keeps the pearls evenly moisturized.
