A close relative of the cod, our haddock fillet are fresh from the Gulf of Maine - The classic Maine tradition is battered and fried as fish n chips. However, this versatile fish is also excellent baked, poached, or in chowders - and unlike the codfish, fries nicely in the pan. Haddock fillet has a very mild flavor, slightly sweet, with white flesh and finer flakes than cod. It is the same fish we use in our smokehouse to make traditional Scottish Finnan Haddie. All orders are shipped via UPS Next Day Air. If a future delivery date is chosen, your order will ship the day before the selected date. If an order is placed after cutoff (2pm ET), your order will ship the next available shipping day. For example, orders placed after 2pm ET on Thursday will ship on the following Monday for Tuesday delivery. Our shipping department is closed Friday-Sunday. We do not offer Saturday or Monday delivery.
