All orders are shipped via UPS Next Day Air. If a future delivery date is chosen, your order will ship the day before the selected date. If an order is placed after cutoff (2pm ET), your order will ship the next available shipping day. For example, orders placed after 2pm ET on Thursday will ship on the following Monday for Tuesday delivery. Our shipping department is closed Friday-Sunday. We do not offer Saturday or Monday delivery.

Overnight means overnight

We’ve been buying Blue Fin Tuna (both fresh and frozen) from Browne for several years. Our weekly purchase was delivered overnight by UPS (as promised). Recently UPS has failed to deliver our fish overnight - we now expect two day or longer delivery. When we speak with customer service they pleasantly try to reassure us that the fish is packed to stay fresh for more than one day. In some cases it has been OK and in others not so. Of course we’re being charged for overnight delivery and not two day which is substantially less. Browne should either pressure UPS to deliver orders on time or start charging customers for two day delivery which is becoming the norm.

Thank you for your feedback. First and foremost, please accept our sincerest apologies for the delay in your order. We understand how important it is for your purchase to arrive on time. Unfortunately, despite us requesting and paying for next day delivery, external factors beyond our control affect the shipping process (weather, mechanical issues wit carriers etc). While we work diligently to ensure smooth delivery, these occasional delays are an unfortunate reality. Though we cannot guarantee next day delivery for 100% of our orders, nor can we get credit for severe weather delays (carriers deem that as out of their control) we still request next day delivery because 2 days in transit is better than requesting 2 day delivery and getting 3 day delivery. We do send our coolers with 2-3 days of gel packs just in case so the product should remain in perfect condition.

Won’t order that again!

It arrived fully thawed although the ice packs were still frozen. Who ever bagged it in a huge bag and placed the ice packs outside should be fired! Fish was brown due to all the air pockets from the huge bag 5the ice packs had no chance of keeping it cold!
