Holiday ordering!

We highly recommend scheduling fresh seafood orders to deliver the third week of December to avoid transit delays. Fresh seafood keeps 5-7 days when stored properly.

2 skin on fillets. Approx. 2 pounds.
or 1 whole fish. Approx. 5 pounds.

Sablefish, commonly referred to as “black cod”, “Alaska cod”, or even “butterfish”, is not actually a member of the cod family, or a true butterfish. Sablefish is part of the anoplopomatidae family, which lives in the icy waters of the pacific northwest.
The luscious, velvety white fillets of the sablefish can be baked, poached, broiled, grilled using a grill basket, or pan-fried. Whole fish can be roasted with the skin left on. Because of its oil content, it is rich in omega-3 fatty acids and does not dry out when barbecuing or smoking.
