When it comes to fresh crab meat, peekytoe remains the most sought-after due to its consistency. You can expect an unrivaled sweetness and a delicate, satisfying texture with this Maine crab. It was back in the 90s that Browne’s owner, Rod Mitchell, coined the phrase “peekytoe”. From that moment, a crab that was predominantly thrown away by Maine lobstermen became a must-have for chefs seeking the finest quality seafood.

Picked, cooked, and ready to eat, this sweet crab meat is perfect for crab cakes, salads, and stuffings. These cups differ from our premium MDI crabmeat with the combo of body meat, opposed to just the leg meat. 

Important Thawing Instructions: with the lid still on, thaw lid down. Due to the shredded nature, thawing upside down will help with moisture distribution.

Shipping Information

All orders are shipped via UPS Next Day Air. If a future delivery date is chosen, your order will ship the day before the selected date. If an order is placed after cutoff (2pm ET), your order will ship the next available shipping day. For example, orders placed after 2pm ET on Thursday will ship on the following Monday for Tuesday delivery.  Our shipping department is closed Friday-Sunday.  We do not offer Saturday or Monday delivery.

Lasts months in the freezer. Thaw under refrigeration for 1-2 days before use. We recommend thawing upside down to distribute moisture through the crab pieces.
