You liked our classic Langoustines and Carabineros so much that we had to bring in another jumbo prawn. Introducing our farmed Kauai Head-On Prawns. These large crustaceans are 8-12 pieces per pound and snap frozen for optimal freshness. Try on the grill, poached in butter, or tossed in pasta.

Head-On Prawns are raw, head-on, shell-on, and frozen.

Suggested serving sizes: 4 ounces of shrimp per person for an appetizer or 8 ounces for an entrée.

Shipping Information

All orders are shipped via UPS Next Day Air. If a future delivery date is chosen, your order will ship the day before the selected date. If an order is placed after cutoff (2pm ET), your order will ship the next available shipping day. For example, orders placed after 2pm ET on Thursday will ship on the following Monday for Tuesday delivery.  Our shipping department is closed Friday-Sunday.  We do not offer Saturday or Monday delivery.

These came frozen & look humongous but they’re not as big once they’re shelled & cooked. The flavor is great. We did a pasta dish as well as chilled served with remoulade sauce. I plan to make gumbo & more chilled with a sauce of some sort with the rest. Also, beware, the shells are very sharp & cut through parts of the freezer bag & stabbed me in the hand.
