Approx. 5 pound bag. 18-20 claws per bag. Frozen.

Wild Canadian jonah crabs are the larger cousin of our Maine peekytoe crabs - and their much larger claws make for delicious eating. Flaky and sweet, these meaty claws are perfect as an appetizer for special occasions and entertaining. More importantly, they are triple scored for easier preparation.

Individually frozen and already cooked, simply thaw and serve chilled, cocktail style, arranged on a platter or in a serving bowl with shaved ice, lettuce, and lemon.

Suggested serving sizes: .5-1 pound of crab legs per person for an appetizer or 1-1.5 pounds of crab legs per person for an entrée.

Not as expected

They were very difficult to work with. Although the description said they were already conveniently cracked I did not find that to be the case. It was a struggle for my arthritic hands. They were very rugged looking, not like the crab claws I’m used to from the Porte Clyde seafood store which I would get when in Maine. I ended up throwing most away.
