Bluefin Tuna is the fattiest and largest in the tuna family, making this fish truly iconic. Maine Bluefin Tuna Loin has a deep, cherry red meat and the firmness of raw steak. As bluefin migrate north each summer, we exclusively source fish responsibly caught by line or harpoon in the waters of Maine and Nova Scotia, where they are regulated under strict harvest quotas. Every bluefin we purchase is graded on-site to confirm its quality rating using a sashibo (a Japanese-made sharp metal probe that removes a thin core from the fish) to evaluate the flesh for color, visible fat content, and texture.

Suggested serving sizes:
Whole fish: 1 lb. of raw fish per person when serving fish whole.
Filleted fish: 6-8oz of raw fish per person when serving filleted fish.
Shipping Information
All orders are shipped via UPS Next Day Air. If a future delivery date is chosen, your order will ship the day before the selected date. If an order is placed after cutoff (2pm ET), your order will ship the next available shipping day. For example, orders placed after 2pm ET on Thursday will ship on the following Monday for Tuesday delivery. Our shipping department is closed Friday-Sunday. We do not offer Saturday or Monday delivery.
