Roasted Fingerling Potatoes with Caviar

For a heartier twist on traditional blini, turn to the humble fingerling potato. A few quick slices transform it into the perfect canvas for elegant plating, elevating your presentation to a master-chef level. These bite-sized delights are effortlessly poppable—ideal for hosting, sharing, and impressing your guests.
INGREDIENTS
Yield: 4 servings
- 20 fingerling potatoes
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 8 ounces creme fraiche
- 50 grams of caviar
PREPARATION
Step 1
Preheat the oven or airfryer to 400F.
Step 2
Wash and pat dry fingerling potatoes.
Step 3
Slice a piece off of each potatoes long end. This will allow the potatoes to sit flat and have a flat service for holding toppings.
Step 4
Toss potatoes in olive oil and season with salt.
Step 5
Roast or airfry for 20 minutes, flipping halfway through.
Step 5
Allow the potatoes to cool for a few minutes before adding creme fraiche or caviar to prevent undesirable melting.
Step 6
Carefully top caviar on one side of potatoes. Then pipe the other side with creme fraiche.
