Barbecue Smoked Sturgeon
Approx. 1-1.5 poundsOur new Barbecue Smoked Sturgeon is a delicious adaptation of our traditional Smoked Sturgeon recipe. We start by marinating fresh, domestically farmed White Sturgeon fillets in a bath of jalapeño barbecue sauce, then hot smoke the fish in our boutique smoker. What comes out is a rich, smoky sturgeon that bears a surprising similarity to pork shoulder in its flavor and tenderness.
Barbecue Smoked Sturgeon can be sliced and eaten on its own, or paired with your favorite barbecue sides like coleslaw and potato salad. Product is whole and unsliced.
We make all of our Barbecue Smoked Sturgeon in our boutique smokehouse, located in Portland, ME. Our smokemaster cures, brines, smokes, skins, and packages by hand in small batches for high quality and consistently outstanding smoked salmon. We ship frozen to preserve the natural fresh flavor.
Did you know that smoked fish has a long shelf life? Sealed smoked fish lasts several weeks in the fridge and frozen smoked fish lasts a few months!
All orders are shipped via UPS Next Day Air. If a future delivery date is chosen, your order will ship the day before the selected date. If an order is placed after cutoff (2pm ET), your order will ship the next available shipping day. For example, orders placed after 2pm ET on Thursday will ship on the following Monday for Tuesday delivery. Our shipping department is closed Friday-Sunday. We do not offer Saturday or Monday delivery.
