Saffron threads are the tip of the stamen of the crocus flower. Each crocus flower produces just three at a time, which makes these tiny threads as precious as they are potent. Each one is packed with a unique and inimitable flavor and aroma - slightly sweet, floral, with a hint of earthiness.
Soak the threads for a few hours before cooking, and use them to add rich flavor and vibrant gold color to your dishes. Saffron is the key ingredient in risotto Milanese, but it is also suited to gnocchi, paella, roasted fish, and bouillabaisse.
Shipping Information

All orders are shipped via UPS Next Day Air. If a future delivery date is chosen, your order will ship the day before the selected date. If an order is placed after cutoff (2pm ET), your order will ship the next available shipping day. For example, orders placed after 2pm ET on Thursday will ship on the following Monday for Tuesday delivery.  Our shipping department is closed Friday-Sunday.  We do not offer Saturday or Monday delivery.
